Patrick had a visit to Canada in August to see belovéd alumni student and friend, Stuart Reid and his wife Doreen Balabanoff for a short visit after receiving his Doctorate. They visited the Union Subway station, where Stuart Reid has a recent work installed as part of the expansion of the Toronto subway system.

They all went on to a summer break at the lakes, where Patrick was able to meet up with more of his students from the Burleighfield era. Here they all gathered to catch up.
